While on your “Wicked Good Tour” learn the history of Wood Island Lifesaving Station. Get a closer view of this seacoast icon with the binoculars we carry onboard the tour van. Efforts are underway to clean up Wood Island and preserve it’s associated sea wall and lifesaving station. This picture shows just how much this 1904 station has deteriorated over the years. We hope through it’s restoration the history of Wood Island and the brave men who risked their lives for those in peril will not be lost. At one point in time Maine had 12 lifesaving stations along it’s rocky coastline.

Our specialty is historical tours of York, Kittery Point and Kittery, Maine for up to nine passengers in our touring van. We can also step aboard your bus and provide our narrative while directing your driver along our tour route. Our rate for large buses of 50 people is $100 per hour for our narratives of York, Kittery Point and Kittery. If you choose to enter the Kittery Museum or Fort McClary in Kittery Point there are additional admission fees charged at these two sites which is the responsibility of your tour bus or your individuals.

We are also prepared to step on your tour and share our knowledge of the seacoast area from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Portland, Maine. While not as detailed as the tours we give, we can AID you while traveling up the coast to your designated stops. We can provide you with suggestions on stops our family and guests have enjoyed over the years.

Contact us & tell us what it is we can do for you.
